Fairview Health Services
Fairview Ridges Hospital – Burnsville, MN – COS was the owner’s representative for the following projects:
- A $60 million expansion which included a 130,000 SF Specialty Care Center connected to the existing hospital with a new skyway, a three level 400 stall parking ramp, a 40,000 SF expansion to the existing hospital and interior renovation throughout the hospital. COS provided preliminary budgeting, team selection, design and construction phase coordination, coordination of FF&E and multiple move phase coordination.
- A two story vertical expansion of existing bed tower, the remodeling of 3 existing patient floors, the addition of a new Surgery Suite including four new OR’s, an enlarged loading dock and SPD area, and a shell build out for a new ICU.
- Remodeling of existing OR’s and addition of a new Cath Lab.
- Remodeling of the Emergency Department, Sterile Processing, Rehab Facilities and Endoscopy.
- Remodeling of Labor and Delivery with addition of two C-Section OR’s.
UMN Health Care System Labor & Delivery, Postpartum and NICU Expansion and Renovation Project – Minneapolis, MN. This project included two phases, the first included the build out of 25,500 SF of shell space to accommodate 24 new post-partum rooms and support space. Phase two included the refresh of 21,960 SF of existing 24 Labor Delivery and Antepartum rooms as well as the NICU and existing support spaces. COS assisted in the team selection, budgeting, design and construction and coordination of FF&E and move in.
Fairview Red Wing Hospital – Red Wing, MN
COS provided overall management of this 17,000 SF expansion, including clinic space and two new OR’s.

Fairview Children’s Hospital – Minneapolis, MN
COS was part of the owner team working on the preparation of the RFP’s, interview and selection process for both the design team and Contractor and the initial review of the project scope for the new Fairview Children’s Hospital.

Children’s Hospital & Clinics of MN
COS provided management of this multi-phased campus expansion and renovation including a new seven story bed tower, the remodeling of the entire existing hospital a new Children’s Specialty Center, a 720 car parking ramp and a new skyway and tunnel across Chicago Ave.
Health East Care System
Health East Care System Elevator Modernization and Code Upgrade Project – St Paul, MN. COS worked with Elevator Consulting Services to prepare a system wide compliance plan for approval by governing agencies, and facilitated the upgrade and code compliance of 31 elevator systems, totaling 57 elevators within all Health East facilities.
Health East Care System Facility Conditions Assessment – St Paul, MN. COS conducted, with key experts, an in-depth review of mechanical, electrical and building enclosure systems on five hospital campuses and multiple clinics. The information was documented and organized with photos, budget replacement costs and prioritization for capital long term planning.
Park Nicollet Health Services
Hutchinson Hospital – Inpatient Care Addition in Hutchinson, MN. This project was a 23-bed inpatient and ICU addition to the existing hospital as well as a new Central Utility Plant.
Methodist Hospital – St Louis Park, MN 3-West Mother Baby Unit Remodeling – COS provided pre-construction services for the owner to coordinate the remodeling and refresh of approximately 37,000 SF of LDRP rooms, Postpartum rooms, Special Care Nursery and support spaces.
Struthers Parkinson’s Center – Golden Valley, MN. COS partnered with Park Nicollet to expand the existing facility to incorporate a memorial indoor/outdoor therapy garden and expanded education center.
Melrose Eating Disorder Clinic in the Court International Building – St. Paul, MN. COS assisted with the build out of the new outpatient clinic.

Innovex – Maple Plaine, MN
COS provided owner’s representation for the design and construction of the new corporate headquarters for Innovex as well as the attached manufacturing facility with clean rooms.

Walker Art Center
Walker Art Center Parking Ramp – Minneapolis, MN
COS provided the overall management on the addition of a 680 car, 5 story underground parking ramp. COS also provided management on portions of the 130,000 SF expansion and renovation of the existing Walker Art Center.
Foss Swim School
COS provided owner’s representation for the design and construction of a free standing swim school in Chanhassen, MN. As well as, construction management for the build out of a swim school in the Knollwood Shopping Center in St Louis Park, MN.

COS provided owner’s representation for the design and construction of the remodeled existing club house, which included removal, and reconstruction, of the entire first floor.

COS provided M&E coordination as well as FF&E project management for the new 280,000 SF Cancer / Cardiovascular Research Facility. The building program includes wet labs, lab support spaces, faculty offices, shared research support, food service and conference rooms.
